We’re certainly seeing that companies that make their money with digital services have started to recruit and build in-house UX design capacity in the past few years. Service organizations like banks have been significantly changing their designer to developer ratio. This is part of a worldwide trend visible in the tech industry. As Nielsen Norman Group showed in a 2020 survey which found that 50% of companies had a ratio of one designer per 10 or fewer developers.
